ISSUES ENCOUNTERED
The on-device MeshNode assembly (construct session/adapter, start()) is the last wiring step to make P2P netcode live; gated OFF by netcodeBringUp until validated on two devices.

SOLUTION
Planned: companion edits + construct NetcodeSession/Adapter + start(), behind the kill-switch; needs a two-device run.
